Japan Prosthodontic Society
TOP > Main Objectives

Prosthodontics specializes in replacing missing or deficient teeth and/or jaws with artificial substitutes such as dental crowns, dentures or implants.

This treatment resolves problems with “chewing”, “speech” and “appearance”, thus maintaining the health of patients and improving the quality of life. Our society is committed to the development and study of new materials and innovative treatment skills. With this treatment, we seek to maintain our patients’ health by rehabilitating oral functions such as chewing, speaking and swallowing plus restoring a natural facial appearance, therefore contributing to the health and longevity of the public.

Moreover, as a public interest incorporated association, we work to raise social and public awareness of the benefits of prosthodontics.
